Environmental issue has always been present in the group’s activities. Besides legal obligations, the company has adopted practices and changes in its activities aiming smaller impact on the environment. The reasonable use of agrochemicals, using preferably less toxic agrochemicals and the sending back of containers and the triple wash of the containers are examples of correct practices. Many installations have been adapted in order to be environmentally correct. The use of gas in the grain drying, the installations of water retentions and the planting of native, exotic and fruit trees are others examples of actions that focus the environmental improvement. The tillage and care with erosion are practices adopted by the group that diminish the harmful actions to the environment. Selective collection of waste has been adopted and also constant trainings for the collaborators aiming the rational use of water and the correct selection of waste.
